Nonetheless, in 2008 the vision of the crisis consequences was so disturbing for both trade unions and employers' organisations that they initiated the endeavour to formulate the draft package of proposals aimed at alleviating the crisis effects. As a result of the performance of the Tripartite Commission for Social and Economic Affairs and the autonomous dialogue, the social partners prepared the joint proposal of actions that should be introduced. These suggestions were taken into consideration, still in a selective manner, however, by the coalition government led by Donald Tusk.
