 abstract={Polish food sector had a lot of changes through the last years - there were deep transformations here. The restructuring, modernization and consolidation of food branch was conducted mainly through the privatization, fusion and taking over. The development of Polish food sector follows unequal and is subordinated to changing nutritional trends. The largest investments in food industry were accumulated in the most perspective branches like: the brewery branch, meat branch and dairy branch. The considerable part of investment in polish food industry is making by foreign investors. They bring in a capital and what is very important, they introduce new solutions in food production, new technologies and new technique of management and sales. Growing investments in polish food industry allows to increase production especially of high-processed food and increase foreign trade of this products.},
